How Neurotoxins Work
Botox works by blocking nerve signals that cause muscle contractions, allowing the muscles to relax and smooth out unwanted wrinkles. With precise dosing, results typically last 3-4 months.

Pre-Treatment Care

Discontinue antibiotics two weeks before treatment.

Avoid vaccinations three weeks prior.

Avoid blood thinners (Advil, ibuprofen, fish oil, etc.) for one week before treatment.

Avoid alcohol 24 hours before treatment.

Treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Post-Treatment Care

Stay upright and avoid lying down for 3-4 hours after treatment.

No exercise or strenuous activity for 24 hours.

Avoid facials, waxing, or massages over the treated area for one week.

If bruising occurs, apply over-the-counter Arnica gel to help reduce swelling.
